General Information
The PainPod Lite is a wearable, easy to use medical device that provides drug free pain relief and assists with muscle recovery using state of the art TENS and EMS technology. TENS helps by blocking the pain signals from reaching the brain and can also cause the body to release endorphins, the feel good hormone. EMS causes the muscles to contract which can help them to release tension, assist with rehabilitation, and promote circulation, all while giving a soothing massage.
This durable device is wireless and wearable with 4 therapy modes to choose from and 20 intensity settings. It has a rechargeable lithium battery that provides approximately 24 hours of continuous treatment for fast acting pain relief at home or on the go!
Simply attach to the body using included Gel Pads or clip straight on to one of our BodySystems Wraps or Accessories which can be purchased separately. The Lite is functional, portable and perfect for everyday use or travel. Keep one in the first aid kit, at the office or give the gift of pain relief to someone you love.
NB: The device needs to be placed on the skin before commencing treatment, the safety mechanism will not allow the intensity to be turned up when it does not detect full contact.
Common Uses
To treat pain associated with surgery, trauma, musculoskeletal problems, bursitis or dental problems. It is also used in physical therapy and during labour/delivery.
It is typically used to prevent muscle atrophy, for muscle re-education, to relax muscle spasms, to improve blood circulation, for post-surgical stimulation of calf muscles to prevent venous thrombosis, and/or to maintain or increase range of motion.
Directions
Attach the Butterfly Pad directly to the back of the Lite using the clips, or the Medium Pads can be attached using a Small Extension wire.
Press the power button and select the mode.
Remove the pad liner and apply to the skin on or around the pain area.
Increase intensity to a comfortable level.
Device will switch off after a 1 hour treatment cycle.

Store at a temperature that would be comfortable for a human being, or somewhere between 5°C (41.0°F) and 27°C (80.6°F) with humidity at 35-50%.

Consult with your doctor before use if you are pregnant, prone to seizures, have cancer or are recovering from cancer.
