Actilax is a lactulose solution for the effective treatment of chronic constipation. Since Actilax solution relieves constipation by producing a physiological change in the colon, it may take from 24 to 48 hours before normal defecation occurs. Actilax Mixture can be mixed with fruit juice, water or milk.

Suitable For: Adults and children
Directions
For chronic constipation.
Adults: usual initial dose is 15 to 30 mL daily. After three days, dose may be reduced to 10 to 25 mL daily for maintenance.
Children: it is recommended that Actilax is given to infants and children under medical supervision. Recommended doses based on age are provided on the product label.
