Optimel Manuka+ Dry Eye Drops™ with medical grade Manuka honey can help improve eye comfort and reduce redness by improving tear quality.
Common Uses
Optimel Manuka+ Dry Eye Drops™ 10mL help restore eye comfort and reduces inflammation by improving eye-lid margin hygiene and reducing bacteria that may potentially colonise the eyelid margin causing inflammation, poor tear quality and trauma to the eye surface.
Indications
Optimel Manuka+ Dry Eye Drops™ help stabilise the surface health of the eye and may provide relief from dry eye symptoms such as sore, irritated eyes and eyelids.
Preservative: Benzoic acid.
FOR MILD TO MODERATE SYMPTOMS OF CHRONIC DRY EYE
Directions
• Wash hands.
• After first removing cap, discard tamper ring on bottle. Avoid touching any surface with nozzle.
• Instil 1 drop to the inner corner of the affected eye up to 3 times daily or as directed by your eye care professional.
• Stinging on drop application is to be expected. Close eye until stinging subsides.
• Discard 2 months after opening.
Ingredients
Leptospermum spp Honey (Manuka) 165mg/g (16.5%), sodium chloride, glycerol, sodium benzoate (preservative)
Warnings
• Single patient use only.
• DO NOT use if sensitive to honey or any of the ingredients.
• Serious conditions should be managed under the supervision of an eye care professional.
• DO NOT use if packaging is damaged or tamper ring is not attached to cap base – remove cap and discard ring.
• DO NOT instil whilst wearing contact lenses. Wait at least 10 minutes before inserting lenses.
• Avoid use if your eyes are very inflamed unless otherwise advised by your eyecare professional.
• Transient stinging and redness are expected.
• Preservative free lubricant may be used beforehand to reduce sting, especially when eyes are very dry.
• For any reaction other than transient stinging and redness, cease use and contact your eye care professional.
• Seek advice from an eye care professional for children under 16.
• Discard 2 months after opening.
• Replace cap after use.
