What is tooth sensitivity?
Sensitivity can occur when the dentine underneath tooth enamel and gums becomes exposed. When exposed dentine comes into contact with hot or cold, sweet or sour, or even your toothbrush, it can trigger the nerve causing a short sharp pain.
Our Sensodyne Repair & Protect toothbrush has been specially designed for people with sensitive teeth. Gum recession and enamel wear can be caused by overbrushing, and over time this can lead to exposed dentine and sensitive teeth.
