If applying the sacrum\u003cbr\u003edressing, place the narrow end a minimum of\u003cbr\u003e2cm\/ ¾in. above the anal sphincter, then\u003cbr\u003esmooth the dressing over the sacrum.\u003cbr\u003e4. Remove remaining liner\/liners. Smooth over. If\u003cbr\u003eused on a wound, ensure absorbent pad covers\u003cbr\u003ethe wound.\u003cbr\u003e5. Smooth down the borders. Ensure there are no\u003cbr\u003ecreases that could compromise the seal. The\u003cbr\u003edressing can be repositioned as required.\u003cbr\u003e6. ALLEVYN GENTLE BORDER Dressings can be\u003cbr\u003ecut especially to dress wounds on the heel,\u003cbr\u003eelbow and other awkward areas. Always use\u003cbr\u003eclean technique when cutting the dressing.\u003cbr\u003eCutting the dressing will compromise the\u003cbr\u003ebacterial barrier and showerproof properties of\u003cbr\u003ethe dressing.
