Style the lower layers first.\nPlug the product into a 220-240V mains power supply.\nFill the water tank of your straightener. Unlock the water tank using the lock\/unlock mechanism on the top of the straightener (A). After removing the tank (B), lift the black silicon tab and fill the tank with water. Replace the tab after filling the tank and re-attach the tank onto the unit.\nIMPORTANT: Filtered water should be used to fill the water tank within your SteamCare straightener.\nSelect your chosen settings by turning the dial (C) on the bottom of the straightener: no steam\/ low steam\/ high steam according to your hair type or length.\n- For thinner, shorter hair we recommend the “low steam”\nsetting\n- For thicker, longer hair we recommend the “high steam”\nsetting\nPress the on\/off button to switch on . The default temperature when the product switches on is 210°C.\nIMPORTANT: A small amount of water may spray through the five small apertures on the top ceramic plate when the straightener has just been turned on, if the steam settings have been selected\nOn average, for a typical user, styling their hair for 30 minutes, the WATER TANK needs to be refilled:\n- On a High steam setting: every 6 uses\n- On a Low steam setting: every 12 uses\nUse the touch temperature control + and - buttons to select your desired temperature manually. We recommend using a lower temperature to start.\nThe temperature indicator LED will flash until the hot brush is ready to use. When the hot brush is ready to use, the LED will remain static.\nWorking on one section at a time run the straightener through the entire length of the hair from roots to ends, without stopping. Use a comb while straightening for even straighter results.\nRepeat this process all over the head, allowing hair to cool before combing through.\nThis is a very efficient product that doesn’t require a lot of steam to be effective. Please do not expect steam to be visible at all time.\nAfter using the straighteners, switch off, unplug, place on your REVAMP heat resistant mat and allow to cool before storing away.\nFor ease of storing, the straightener plates can be shut down together by using the lock\/unlock lever as show in the Features section.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003chr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWarnings\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis appliance can be used by children aged from 16 years and above.
