General Information
Sykes Big L Wormer for Poultry & Pigs contains Levamisole, a member of the clear family of drenches with broad effectiveness against a variety of worms.
For Pigs, Big L may be given either mixed with feed or as a drench, and for Poultry , Big L should be diluted with drinking water. Complete details of dosage are given on the label.
Wormer for Poultry (& other birds) and Pigs
In Pigs
Targets: Round Worm, Stomach Worm, Lung Worm, Mature Kidney Worm and Nodule Worm.
In Poultry
Targets: Round Worm, Hair Worm, Caecal Worm.
- Administered as a drench or added to feed or water.
- No withholding period for eggs
- Levamisole based, therefore most parasitic worms can be controlled.

Directions for PIGS:
Sykes Big L wormer for Poultry and Pigs may be given either mixed with feed or as a drench, but it is important with pigs that it be consumed quickly; so make sure that the animals are slightly hungry before administration, that they have the ample feeding space and that animals of comparative size be treated. Treat small or weak animals individually.
Directions for POULTRY
Do not treat in extremes of hot or cold weather.
For the treatment of the three worms mentioned above (refer to bottle instructions) dilute 100mL of Sykes Big L wormer for Poultry & Pigs with 2 Litres of clean drinking water. If treating large round worm only dilute 100mL with 3 Litres of water. To administer remember that the dose should be consumed in the shortest possible time. It is best to withholdwater from birds for 2 hours before nightfall. Administer medicated water so that birds will drink at daylight. Replace with clean fresh water after tanks first. Birds under continuous light should be treated by withholding water for 2 hours then giving medicated solution as above. Dose at the rate of 350mL medicated water for each 10kg liveweight. Administer in usual drinkers. Check operation.
Store below 25°C in a dry place away from light. Do not store in open containers. Make all dilutions as required.

Keep out of reach of children. Read safety directions before opening or using. For animal treatment only. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash hands after use. If poisoning occurs contact doctor or the Poisons Information Centre 131126. If swallowed and more than 15 minutes away from hospital, induce vomiting preferably using Ipecac Syrup APF.
