Common Uses
The Fast Fit Ankle Support is crafted to offer support and protection for the ankles. It features a soft-good/semi-rigid design aimed at limiting motion through elastic or semi-rigid materials. It provides mild protection for acute and prophylactic care of a limb or body segment.
Directions
Step 1: Fast Fit Ankle
Loosen straps and laces before application. Ensure the ankle is at a 90° angle. While seated at the edge of a chair, place your foot in the ankle brace. Position the tongue on the top of the foot before lacing up. Pull lace tabs across the top of the foot and secure them to the Velcro on the opposite side of the brace.
Step 2a: Outer Strap Application for Right Foot
Turn heel slightly outwards. Wrap the long outer strap in a figure 8 over the forefoot and under the arch. Pull the strap vertically until firm tension is achieved. Secure to Velcro. Trim the strap if necessary.
Step 2b: Inner Strap Application for Left Foot
Turn heel slightly inwards. Wrap the long inner strap in a figure 8 over the forefoot and under the arch. Pull the strap vertically until firm tension is achieved. Secure to Velcro. Trim the strap if necessary.
Step 3: Short Straps Application
Wrap the short circumferential straps around both sides of the ankle, over the long inner and outer straps. Secure at the front of the brace.
Note: The ankle brace should be snug but not restrict circulation.
The entire Victor Ankle Support can be hand washed in lukewarm water with mild soap and air dried. Dry naturally. Note: If not rinsed thoroughly, residual soap may cause skin irritation or deteriorate the material.
