Check all straps, buckles, and attachments for secure fastening.\nStep 2:\tDetach shoulder strap buckles and open front panel.\nStep 3:\tPosition the elbow in the pocket of the sling as far back as possible.\nStep 4:\tThe thumb may be placed in the thumb support (if your immobiliser has one) to help maintain forearm alignment.\nStep 5:\tPass the neck (upper) strap over the opposite shoulder and secure to sling using quick release buckles. The outside buckle can be released to increase the range of motion for rehab and exercise.\nStep 6:\tSecure the velcro at the top of the sling.\nStep 7:\tPass the waist (lower) strap around the waist, through the O ring at the fingers and back on itself to secure the arm against the body. \nStep 8: \tCheck that the hand is resting slightly above the elbow or as directed by your healthcare practitioner and that the arm is well supported.\nStep 9: Check that the fit is snug, comfortable, with no pressure points and not impeding circulation.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe entire Victor Recovery Immobilizer can be hand washed in lukewarm water with mild soap and air dried. Dry naturally.
