The wrist and 3\/4 of the hand should be supported in the pocket.\nStep 3: The thumb may be placed in the thumb loop (if your immobiliser has one) to help maintain forearm alignment.\nStep 4: Pass the neck (upper) strap over the opposite shoulder, through the O ring and double back to secure the velcro fastener. The padded support should rest evenly on the shoulders.\nStep 5: Pass the waist (lower) strap around the waist, through the O ring and back on itself to secure.\nStep 6: Check that the hand is resting slightly above the elbow or as directed by your healthcare practitioner and that the arm is well supported.\nStep 7: Check that the fit is snug, comfortable, with no pressure points\n\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe entire Victor Shoulder Immobilizer can be hand washed in lukewarm water with mild soap and air dried.
